Attention PCPOA
members, please refrain from using
fertilizer containing phosphates.
These extra phosphates get into the ground
water and become part of our lakes problem.
The middle number should be 0. Example
10-0-10
They can be purchased at Home Depot, Farm
Fleet and Fleet Farm, etc.

Established in 1976, the
Petenwell Lakes Property Owners’
Association (PLPOA)
was formed to promote the rights of the
public so that full utilization of the
lake would be assured for all people.
The operating area for the association
was established as follows: from Highway
73 South to Highway 82 and Highway 13
west to Highway 80.
Today, PCPOA continues to work to protect the rights of the communities
it serves to enjoy full use and enjoyment of the Petenwell and Castle Rock
lakes.
Please note: You should shower and your children should shower
after water activities and keep your pets out of the water.
Our current projects include:
|
- Getting WDNR to begin cleanup of
blue-green algae and mercury
pollution from Petenwell and Castle
Rock lakes, as well as removal of
dioxin-contaminated carp. See
