1999 - started to sponsor the Petenwell Musky Challenge.  The PMC stocks the lakes with muskies and helped put up piers when stocking was not allowed.

2002 -  Became a sponsor of the carp shoot of the Wisconsin Bow Fishermen.

2006 -  Channel 7 WSAW in Wausau contacted us for an interview for their Wisconsin River series.  As a result, we were able to highlight the algae problem.

2007 -  Due to the TV publicity, the Adams County lake Alliance and a new group called the PACRS (Petenwell and Castle Rock Stewards) was formed through the help of the River Alliance of Wisconsin.  A few of our board members joined the steering committee on the PACRS and joined the Adams County Lake Alliance group.  Both are working to clean our lakes.

2008 -  The Association worked to stop more piers from being put up in Klein Creek.  Some of the piers had already been put up without a permit from the DNR.  The new piers to be erected would have seriously ruined not only the environment but the navigation through Klein Creek.
